This is one of my all time favorite mini lessons

This mini lesson is simple:

Have your child identify the number and then count out that number of items.
3. Let your little learner place the counted items above, on or under that number flashcard.
You can use just about anything....the kiddos love to count their favorite toys and favorite snacks. Taste testing and early subtraction are usually part of the mini lessons when using delicious treats ;)
